Elena Saint-Lot
Elena came to find her yoga practice in 2013 during a hectic and uncertain period in her life. Juggling graduate school, work, and raising a young child on her own, Elena found it difficult to make time for her own physical health and mental well-being. Through regular yoga practice, she began to relinquish the need to be constantly productive and distracted. Yoga facilitated Elena’s awareness and understanding of the significant connection that exists between the mind and body. She discovered that regular yoga practice was the tool she needed in order to take control of her own emotions and reactions. Yoga brought a restorative power to Elena's life and subsequently led her to develop a love for sharing the practice with those around her. After completing her studies as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Elena was finally able to make time for her initial 200-hour hot yoga teacher training. She completed her training alongside her best friend, and now husband, in 2017 through Blissful Spirits Teacher Training Program. Elena is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with Yoga Alliance.
Elena believes that true health and joy is achieved through comprehensive care of the body, mind, and spirit. Elena leads her yoga classes with an open heart and welcomes students from all walks of life, in all stages of their practice, to join her in a mutual pursuit of balance, love, and peace. She particularly enjoys guiding fellow yogis in yin, yin-yang, and vinyasa practices.
